The Nutcracker was founded in 2014 with its flagship cafe in Kala Ghoda, a precious corner of Mumbai known for its rich heritage and to be its art precinct. I could go on endlessly about the influences that all felt so normal in those years but were silently stacking up and eventually contributed to bringing me here.
After two jumps in my career, I took a leap of faith, followed my heart and landed in a space I felt was truly my calling, a space I could feel a sense of flow more than ever before.
For me, The Nutcracker is truly personal... it’s my endeavour to bring years of memories and emotions into a space and allow people to feel what food really is; an emotion, a memory, a comfort, a happiness, a never ending experience that grows with you.
Honesty, freshness and comfort are the driving forces in what we deliver at The Nutcracker and I sincerely hope you can share this joyful experience in your time with us.”
One of the nicest things about life is the way we must
regularly stop whatever it is that we are doing and devote
our attention to eating.
